There is talent behind Fain's pen and it is creating characters that are perfectly connected with each other. Ordinary people being brought together with the idea that angels could be aliens, and not heavenly beings. Can you imagine? Well, Fain did and this story brings out a divinity of imagination that explores the truth in the lessons of life. The characters are amazing, so realistic, and this work is very inspirational. It's a fun, quick paced story that gives the reader a lot to think about.

The title and cover for this book pulled me in right away, as did the first few pages. I was immediately intrigued by the theme of the story. Typically a novel like this will start off a bit slow and then pick up in the middle or toward the end. This one, however, moved at a steady pace in some parts and fell flat in others.
I was impressed by the author’s idea for this story. Basically, ten people are given the chance to have anything they could ever want, if they only take a certain pill a few times per day. Who hasn’t wished for that at least once in his/her life?
Though there were a few POV issues and grammatical errors, I’m giving this novel a four-star rating because the story theme was intriguing enough for me to finish it, and the characters were well developed and easy to relate to.

I did not want to finish this book! It barely left my hands once I started it. It was a very exciting read! After reading The Angel Experiment, I excitedly look forward to more from this author.
Fantastic characters! Interesting story of several people whose lives are woven together as they try to become who they truly want to be. These characters start out being stuck in lives that could easily be any one of us. They get the opportunity to become unstuck through seemingly divine intervention. There is truth in the lessons these characters learn as the story unfolds into a great read!
This novel is a lot of fun. Its smart politics and comic touch made it a real page turner. Though written from a realist perspective and set in contemporary Seattle, the story has a fantastical /speculative bent where all the action happens. The book will leave you thinking about our place in the world (and universe overall). I definitely recommend it!
Good story! Worth the read. I read this after finishing a fast paced pulp novel ("maximum ride by james patterson also highly recommended for adults and young adults). it was a smart, thoughtful, counter-pace to that.
