**Acclaim for Lost Valley**
“Pulse-pounding action, brilliant speculation, and the introduction of a lost world filled with horrors and wonders. J.T. Cross is a lot of writer.”

Lost Valley: The Hunted (Part 2) literally picks up starting with the next sentence in the story from Part 1. This is the part where the CEO of the energy company arranges for his hit team to bring the helicopter down carrying the survey scientists in the valley because they asked for too big of a cut of the big energy bonanza discovered in Part 1. Luc's wife and kids are on that helicopter along with his ex-wife and her new scientist husband. Luc, his new girlfriend Kate and her helper go to rescue Luc's kids and his ex-wife. The cover of this Kindle book foreshadows the forthcoming action as the people on the helicopter quickly realize they are not alone and that they are on the dinner menu. Luc and his team arrive in the Valley but they are followed by the energy company's hit team and the chase begins. I did not find Part 2 as engrossing and interesting as Part 1 and this series goes downhill from here.Product details

Lost Valley The Hunted Part 2 edition by JT Cross Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Agree this could have been one book and Part 3 could lead to another story, but I liked it. Action, mystery, unusual phenomena. I read for fun, so...
Cross's second 'book' in his "serial novel" is merely another handful of chapters. When, and IF, the third 'book' is released, you will have to get out your charge card AGAIN. We would be better served if his story appeared as an ongoing serial in a monthly magazine.
The Lost Valley reads like a TV weekly serial script. It is in the genre of Michael McBride's "Vector Borne" and "Burial Ground" but serious readers will find his work without any creative style and very little basis in geographical, scientific or technological studies or background.
Cross would appeal, however, to readers who are more interested in X-box type action stories. He certainly develops and maintains a significant degree of excitement, suspense and action!
Very entertaining, drew you right in. I liked the suspense build of the first book, and the romantic parts of the second part, but not too heavy and not overpowering to the story. The dislike and feelings of the characters and the fear were great. Can hardly wait for part 3. Did a great job describing parts and just enough detail in others to let your mind see the happenings. Good writing
Disappointing. This was disappointing on many levels, for one the length. The writer has chopped up his book in what looks to be 4 parts and your having to buy each and every part.It looks to be about 12.00 before it is done.I personally do not spend that much on a name brand writer for e-books. You as a reader are only getting 1/4 of the book at a time. This is mainly a SHORT STORY for your money. It puts me in the mind of when S.King came out with the Green Mile. I did not like that and I do not like this. Then there is the fact that you have spent your money and there is no conclusion to the part you just read, it leaves you hanging.I HATE this.I want a ending, bad or good. Then the writing style,it read like a 16 year old was telling the story. He put the characters in situations that was beyond belief. The scene between Luk and the Old Woman who gave him the Traveling Tea should have been great but the way he had the woman's character speaking and acting was horrible. For all that was wrong it still holds your interest. The hook is outstanding.I will not be buying any more of this. When he decides to sell it as a WHOLE book then maybe I will revisit this story.
I could not put this down. Read it in a few hours.. I loved the way J. T. Interacted the people. Had my at the edge of my seat. You will love this series. Please read it.

That is the weirdest format I have ever seen a publisher use to present a book to the public. I am not sure what the rationale was behind it, but I hated it. Whether the motivation was financial, or just trying to build up suspense, it made it difficult for me to follow the story line, which really wasn't that good to begin with.
I enjoyed Lost Valley The Discovery (A Serial Novel, Part 1). I knew up front that this is a serialized novel and would most likely have cliffhanger endings. And it surely does.
Protagonist Luc Moon discovered more than he ever bargained for in Part 1 - and then he ends up having to go back into the forbidden mountains to try and find his children and ex-wife after they've gone down in a helicopter crash.
Rough land, treacherous adversaries, beyond dangerous never-before-seen animals...all tied together in this Part 2 of the Lost Valley saga.
I do agree with others that the sections are a mite over-priced and some of the story doesn't quite match up with what I know of Alaska but I'm enjoying the story as a story. I'm glad, though, that I'm reading it when Lost Valley The Escape (A Serial Novel, Part 3) is already out and ready to read.
