Very lovely story of forgiveness and redemption. The characters are memorable and likable. I finished the book in a few days and couldn't put the book down! I am still thinking about the story and the people in it, wondering what they are up to now. That means it's a good story! When the characters come to life and you want to talk to them or be a part of them. Good job Erin! I look forward to the next one.
She’s done it again! Erin Williams is such a talented story-teller you won’t want to put this book down once you start reading it, but you won’t want it to end either! In a few short pages, you will find yourself caring about these people, wanting to know what will happen next, hoping that it will be good things. Her words flow so naturally and effortlessly that the story will come to life in your mind! I’m anxiously awaiting her next book, and all the ones that follow!

I found the overall pacing of the book to be consistent without too much filler. Even if there wasn’t a lot of action in a scene, there was usually some important thought process, revelation or observation to be made. Otherwise, the character was doing something or learning something. My only complaint is that the ending-- as in the last two pages or so-- seemed rushed. While the rest of the book is very thorough in exploring Kit’s internal dialogue, the ending seems much more abrupt. I would have liked it better if it had been drawn out for a couple more pages, or even a few paragraphs.
Despite that, Gemini Rising was a very good read. I think it accomplishes what it sets out to do, and serves as an excellent example for writers who want to portray a character with PTSD. I highly recommend it to anybody who might be interested, but it might not be for the faint of heart. Reviewed by Kaitlin

I could not put this book down. I read it in less than 1 week which is something I have never done before. Everybody needs to know that they are worthy of love and being loved. I would highly recommend this book.
